By involving students in the life of the Hatfield Christian Church we expose them to various forms of practical ministry. By it’s nature practical ministry requires involvement in home cells, community ministries and missions. Students are afforded the opportunity to develop their own ministry gifts, assisting in baptism, new-life and healing teams. This provides a safe environment for students to learn the practical ‘how-to's’ of ministry.
As mentioned, academic preparation forms an integral part of Ministry Training School. Students are able to work towards a variety of academic qualifications. Modules are structured in such a way as to include some of the subjects; and as such students are continually working towards completing their academic preparation.
Ministry Training School has a proven track record having successfully launched many men and women into the sphere of Life to which God has called them.
MINISTRY TRAINING SCHOOL
ACOMMODATION
Ministry Training School students are accommodated in 'the community'. This accommodation is available within walking distance of the church. We aim as far as possible, to make our student houses feel like home. Student housing allows for teaching to be followed up by practical, ongoing discipleship. Our residences function on a communal system, with every student being allocated duties on a rotational basis by the resident house leader. Students living in our houses are expected to be fully involved in these activities. Each house is equipped with a washing machine and ironing facilities.
Accommodation is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
For 'the community' pricing see our fee structure.
